Enclaves

We are now accepting submissions for ENACT's ephemeral analytics enclaves. Details on the enclave environment are below, including governance and regulatory guidance for participation.

ENACT Ephemeral Enclaves

  • Study specific, with limited data sets from other network sites of interest
  • Secure computational environments
  • Suite of analytics tools, including Jupyter notebooks, Python, and R
  • Time limited environments that can either be archived or deleted upon study completion

For institutions:

  • Add the below information to our Intake Form
    • Lead Contact for ENACT to help facilitate enclave onboarding process (name, email)
    • Legal Contact for the DTA (name, email)
    • IRB Contact for the reliance agreement (name, email)
    • Informatics Contact for future data transfer requests (name, email)
  • Reference our regulatory and governance guidance at the bottom of this page
  • Once the data transfer agreement and reliance agreement are executed, local investigators may request an enclave (steps detailed in the next section)

For investigators:

Note that each site that contributes data must have a signed data transfer agreement. Reach out to Elaina Sendro Gano to verify your institution has signed the agreement.
  1. Run your queries across the standard ENACT network platform to test the feasibility of the work you are looking to do in the enclave environment
  2. Consult with your local teams in the meantime to understand the data implications of your query
  3. Complete an enclave request form in REDCap
  4. A member of the ENACT team will follow up with more information
